About Me
I am Sarai Minard! (Pronounced like Sarah Meh-Nnard)
I enjoy early morning coffee, birdwatching, nature, photography, spending time with my family, video games, crafting, painting, cooking, reading, gardening, growing food, writing, and creating.
I have the BEST little family. My husband and I have been married since 2012! We have two OUTSTANDING boys (10 and 11 years old.) They are truly creative, and so much fun. Our oldest wants to be a storm chaser when he grows up, and our youngest wants to be an astronaut (or work at McDonalds, he hasn't decided.) My husband is the love of my life, and my support throughout everything life hands us. We have been blessed to share this life with one another and through love.

Impacting the Local Community
Since 2024, I have volunteered with the Greene County Parks Department to educate people and help preserve the butterfly environment for Missouri native butterfly species.
I volunteer as a docent at the Springfield Botanical Gardens in cooperation with the Dr. Bill Roston Butterfly House to educate patrons about host plants, habitat, and their role in the survival of dozens of butterfly species native to Missouri. We are currently working with a goal to reintroduce the Diana Fritillary (Large species butterfly) to SW Missouri, an area they once called home.
